What is Old Tom Gin?

Here's a secret, if you're not sure you like gin, give an Old Tom a go.

Traditionally, they contain less juniper than a London Dry Gin.

They are often softer, maltier and sweeter.

Popular in the 1800's, when the gin scene went underground, if you found a plaque with a cat on the wall and put a coin in its mouth, a shot of gin would appear!

Often sweetened with sugar or honey after distillation, they have a caramel like profile, rather than a vegetable piney profile that a London Dry Gin has.

Enjoy with a light tonic or in a fruity punch.
